Description
Edward VII Dollar 1903-B, KM25, raised mint mark, MS64 NGC, a choice and extremely eye-appealing example of this elusive issue, the rarer of the two varieties of this year, in fact decidedly rarer with the "B" raised upon the central cross on the king's crown, the luster flashy but the strike soft in the centers and the dies showing various breaks or cracks, indicating how much trouble the Bombay Mint had making these pieces, possibly also explaining why the version with the mint mark raised is so much harder to find, if the die soon shattered. With its vivid blue and reddish gold iridescence, this specimen has to be among the prettiest in existence!From the Silver Around the World Collection
