Description
Victoria 1/2 Cent 1883, KM-8, MS63 RB NGC. This has a bit of the spotty toning that comes on most of the S.S. copper coins, but it is still more than 60% red. An unheard of grade for this date. The Ford and Remick examples were XF+. This coin catalogues the same as the 1875 Proof 1/2 Cent. The Remick 1875 Proof brought almost $5,000.From the Dr. Patrick Tan Collection.
