1980-P Anthony Dollar
One of Only Three Certified as MS68
1980-P $1 MS68 PCGS. The second year of the mini-dollar
witnessed significantly lower mintages, as it was by then apparent
that the coin was rejected in commerce. The diameter was too close
to a quarter, and the paper dollar was more familiar. The present
lustrous and crisply struck example has light green-gold and
pearl-gray toning. Certified in a green label holder. Population: 3
in 68, 0 finer (11/16).Ex: Central States Signature (Heritage, 4/2008), lot 3137.
