Description

Confederation Specimen 5 Francs 1892-B SP64 NGC, Bern mint, KM34, HMZ-2-1198e, Divo-127. Gleaming, brilliant, flashy; there does not seem to be a word that adequately qualifies this superb specimen striking. Possessing a degree of brilliance often lacking from even higher grade business strikes, the surfaces reveal an indelible mirrorlike finish, the devices heavily frosted, and utterly little left wanting on the whole. The first Specimen-graded representative of the date we have handled, and the only at NGC.
