Description

Uri. City gold Ducat 1736/20 MS62 NGC, KM38, Fr-407, HMZ-2991d. Full mint brilliance, with sharp central motifs and some faintly visible strike doubling in SANTUS MARTINUS along the outer reverse legends. A faint bulge (we believe in the flan) is also visible near St. Martin's horse's raised leg. Largely the result of the visually arresting arms of Uri, comprised of a strong bull depiction, this issue has long been incredibly popular with world gold collectors. As a solid Mint State example that is very scarce at this level, we can only expect that trend to continue through the sale of this lovely piece.
