AU 1854 Kellogg & Co. Twenty Dollar
Only Long Arrows Variety of the Year, K-2

1854 $20 Kellogg & Co. Long Arrows Twenty Dollar AU50 PCGS. Gold CAC. K-2, R.4. Four varieties of twenty dollar gold coins were produced by Kellogg & Co. in 1854. All of them are scarce-to-rare issues. The dies closely resembled the ones used on federal coinage that year. This coin represents the scarce K-2 variety, easily identified by the Long Arrows on the reverse.
This lightly circulated specimen retains much of its original luster and detail and the surfaces are lightly abraded for the grade. Housed in an old green label holder with a gold CAC sticker. Listed on page 378 of the 2012 Guide Book. Population: 15 in 50, 46 finer (11/11).
