1855 Kellogg & Co. Twenty Dollar, AU Details
    K-3c Variety, Unlisted in Kagin

1855 $20 Kellogg & Co. Twenty Dollar -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. AU. K-3c, R.5. This interesting variety was not listed by Don Kagin in his series reference. It shows Short Arrows on the reverse and has the O of CO embedded in the hair, like the more familiar K-3b, but the placement of the date is different, with the second 5 left of the curl rather than underneath. This still-attractive specimen shows some evidence of a light cleaning in the past, but the design elements show only a trace of wear and the surfaces show only minor abrasions.
