Description
Baldwin & Co. $10 'Restrike' Deep Cameo Proof PCGS. The famous 1850 Baldwin 'Horseman' Territorial ten dollar issue serves as the design inspiration for this 2002 restrike. Kuner's name appears on the obverse, since he engraved the original 1850 dies. He would likely repudiate the reverse, however, since the additional S.S. CENTRAL AMERICA legend has small mistakes, such as a widely spaced ICA and several unbalanced and misaligned letters.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# ANHK, PCGS# 10028, GSID# 11702)
