Popular Restrike Proof Kellogg & Co. Fifty

1855 $50 Kellogg & Co. Fifty Dollar PR69 PCGS. Struck on August 20, 2001, with a mintage on that date of 493 pieces. The medal was minted at the Presidio near San Francisco, close to the site of minting for the authentic 1855 Kellogg & Co. fifty. The source bullion came from Kellogg & Humbert ingots recovered from the S.S. Central America. Light honey-gold toning graces this exquisitely struck and unabraded relic medal. The certificate of authenticity, frame, and gold-colored box are included, the screwdriver and brochure are absent.
