Description
Rama IX gold Bullion 1000 Baht (1951), KM3, choice lustrous AU, few minor rim flaws, probably as made. This huge 173.8 gram coin was issued by the Thai government to repay bonds and were ordered to include the Garuda emblem. It is difficult to describe the massive nature of this coin, but the thickness is 8 mm and the weight is nearly 6 ounces. Very rare and rarely seen in the market.Auction Info
