1866 Three Cent Nickel, MS66+
Rarely Encountered CAC Coin
1866 3CN MS66+ PCGS. CAC. The 1866 three cent nickel is
scarce in MS66 and rare any finer. The present Plus-graded Premium
Gem is struck from clashed and cracked dies with slight weakness
along the lower obverse and upper reverse rims. The nickel-gray
surfaces show a hint of iridescence and excellent preservation.
Population: 33 in 66 (4 in 66+), 3 finer. CAC: 17 in 66, 6 finer
