Description
Finest Certified 1866 Three Cent Nickel MS68
1866 3CN MS68 NGC. A breathtaking Mint State representative from the heavily produced second year of issue. Although produced from noticeably clashed dies, everything else about this coin is virtually unimprovable. Satiny luster is thick and luxuriant beneath a swirling array of lilac and apricot-gold toning. Additionally, both sides are very well struck despite the obvious die clashing and free from detectable blemishes. Unsurpassable quality for not only the date, but the entire type as well.
