Late Die State
1867 3CN MS64 NGC. The date is normal and the design
elements show no die doubling on this delightful late die state
example that has several radial die cracks from the obverse and
reverse borders, with extensive die clashing. This piece has
delicate light gold toning on its brilliant and lustrous light gray
surfaces. NGC has certified 56 finer examples (2/24).(Registry values: N491)Selections From The Towers Collection.
