1868 Three Cent Nickel, MS66+
Only One Coin Finer at PCGS
1868 3CN MS66+ PCGS. CAC. The 1868 issue in this
underappreciated series is scarce in MS66 and rarely offered finer.
CAC-approved coins are in the minority. This Plus-graded example
displays softly frosted luster and light golden toning. The Liberty
portrait is sharp, although minor weakness occurs on the central
Roman numerals. Light clash marks are visible on each side.
