1869 Three Cent Nickel, MS63
Clashed Dies
1869 3CN MS63 PCGS. This gold-toned Select Mint State 1869
three cent nickel piece has brilliant luster, sharp design
elements, and satiny nickel-gray surfaces. The date is normally
formed and there is no evidence of die doubling on this example.
Both dies show prominent clash marks. Housed in a first generation
"rattler" holder.(Registry values: N491)Selections From The Towers Collection.
