Iridescent CAC-Approved Example

1869 3CN MS66+ PCGS. CAC. Frosty, luminous mint luster adorns this pristine high-end Premium Gem, with subtle iridescence throughout otherwise stone-gray surfaces. The central portion of the Roman numeral reverse is weak, but other details are well defined. The light clash marks in the fields on each side are traditional for the three cent nickel type, as they are for the three cent silver series that co-circulated with it. Population: 36 in 66 (2 in 66+), 1 finer. CAC: 26 in 66, 0 finer (6/25).(Registry values: N1793)
