Description
PCGS 1872 MS 66. A superb, fully frosty specimen that is toned a light golden-gray across both sides. MS 66 three-cent nickels of any date are certainly a noteworthy type coin, but for an 1872 the grade takes on particular importance. Only 9 examples of the date have graded MS 65 and, to date (2/93), this is the only MS 66 certified by PCGS.
