1873 Three Cent Nickel, MS65
Appealing Open 3 Representative
1873 3CN Open 3 MS65 PCGS. CAC. Gem surface quality is
blatantly evident on each side of this Open 3 1873 three cent
nickel. Trivial striking softness is noted on the hair curls above
Liberty's ear, but the reverse wreath is well-defined. A heavy die
crack stretches from the reverse rim at 9:30, through the
upper-left wreath branch, to the rim at 12:30. Satiny olive-gray
luster yields just a hint of pale golden color when examined
beneath a light. Population: 37 in 65 (1 in 65+), 2 finer
