1873 Open 3 Nickel Three Cent, MS65
Extremely Rare Any Finer
1873 3CN Open 3 MS65 PCGS. The Open 3 logotype is plain on
this Gem example. Both sides are softly lustrous with satiny,
nickel-gray surfaces that show just a hint of champagne toning. The
design elements are well-defined and the only grade-limiting factor
is faint contact on Liberty's cheek, not obvious to the unaided
eye. Population: 39 in 65 (1 in 65+), 2 finer (5/15).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22NR, PCGS# 3740, GSID# 2776)
