1873 Nickel Three Cent, MS66
Open 3 Condition Rarity
1873 3CN Open 3 MS66 PCGS. CAC. This is a beautifully
preserved, frosty Premium Gem example with glowing champagne
luster. The obverse is well-defined, but portions of the reverse
wreath and Roman numerals appear to have been struck with a
grease-filled die. The Open 3 1873 nickel three cent is scarcer
than its Closed 3 counterpart in high grade. This CAC-approved
Premium Gem is among the finest known. Population: 4 in 66 (1 in
