Description

1875 3CN Misplaced Date, FS-301, MS66+ NGC. The flag (or base?) of an errant 1 is visible protruding from the lower part of Liberty's neck. This variety is not overly rare, but it is dramatic enough to warrant substantial demand from Cherrypickers' enthusiasts. This Plus-graded example displays frosty silver luster and crisp design definition. A small planchet void is noted beneath middle Roman numeral on the reverse.
