1875 Three Cent Nickel, MS67
Seldom Located as a Circulation Strike
1875 3CN MS67 NGC. For the collector seeking an overlooked
series, circulation strike three cent nickels are worthy of
consideration. Proofs were set aside, but only a couple of handfuls
of each date have survived of the business strikes (at least in
Uncirculated condition). This is a remarkably well-preserved
example. The surfaces are bright and untoned with glowing mint
frost and complete strike details. As one would expect, there are
no marks worthy of mention. Census: 4 in 67 (1 in 67★ ), 0
