1879 3CN MS65 NGC. Following the proof-only 1877 and 1878 issues, only 38,000 business strikes were produced in 1879. With such a low mintage, it is not surprising that this satiny Gem has prooflike qualities. A well struck and seemingly unabraded piece with a couple of tiny peripheral toning flecks.
