1879 3CN MS67 PCGS. After two years of proof-only mintages, Philadelphia coined another round of business strikes in 1879, a production of 38,000 pieces. This Superb Gem ranks among the finest survivors of the issue. The nickel-gray surfaces display glints of green-gold patina, and the strike is solid.
