Fully Struck Superb Business Strike 1879 Three Cent Nickel
1879 3CN MS67 PCGS. The reverse fields are semi-prooflike, but there is no evidence of die polishing on the obverse of this coin. Mostly brilliant, there is just the slightest trace of reddish patina, most noticeable on the reverse. An unquestionable business strike and scarce as such with only 38,000 pieces produced.
