Description
1880 MS 66 NGC. A scarce and desirable year for this superb business strike. The popularity of the three-cent denomination was waning and Philadelphia ordered only about 20,000 pieces struck. This piece exhibits deep, satiny luster over mostly untoned surfaces. The strike is razor sharp on both sides with nearly full denticulation.
