1882 3CN MS66 PCGS. CAC. Coming from a mintage of only 22,200 coins, the 1882 three cent nickel is a better date in all grades. Premium Gem examples such as the present are rarely seen, and just a handful of pieces are known finer. This coin is one of only six pieces in this grade with CAC approval. The strike is sharp, and the softly frosted luster yields delicate iridescence. Population: 23 in 66, 4 finer. CAC: 6 in 66, 1 finer (11/20).(Registry values: N1793)
