1883 Three Cent Nickel, MS64
Conditionally Scarce Business Strike
1883 3CN MS64 PCGS. This issue and the two that follow are
curious anomalies, with more proofs produced than business strikes
in all three years. Naturally, business strike examples are much
scarcer than proofs. This near-Gem is well-struck and splendidly
preserved, with smooth nickel-gray surfaces and pleasing satiny
