1887 3CN MS65 NGC. Token mintages were the order of the day for the three cent nickel after 1881 -- 5,000 business strikes, in the case of the 1887. This Gem is virtually pristine in terms of contact, with powder-gray surfaces sporting a light golden overlay. A small dark fleck near the first column on the reverse is unbothersome. Census: 25 in 65, 3 finer (6/12).(Registry values: N1793)
