Description

1888 3CN MS67 PCGS. Ex: Bruce Scher. Both sides of this impeccably smooth example display supreme, satiny brilliance under a thin veil of speckled golden toning. The strike is well executed in all areas and is particularly sharp on the high-points of the reverse. The 1888 is one of the best-produced issues in the series and can be located without too much difficulty at the MS65 grade level. MS67s, of course, take on much greater significance. Population: 38 in 67, 1 finer (4/14).
