Wonderful 1889 Three Cent Nickel MS67
1889 3CN MS67 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Bruce Scher Collection. Extraordinary quality for this final year issue. The liberally frosted surfaces have a soft golden and lilac tint over both sides and are well defined on the major devices. Both sides are free from abrasions, although the reverse border has two radial die cracks at 3 and 11 o'clock. Population: 10 in 67, 0 finer (2/09).Ex: Bruce Scher Collection (Heritage, 2/2005), lot 4024, which realized $8,193.75.(Registry values: N2998)
