1851-O Three Cent Silver
1851-O 3CS MS65 PCGS. CAC. This satiny silver-white Gem is
sharply struck throughout and remarkably free of abrasions. The
1851-O has been a perennially overlooked issue among 19th century
U.S. coinage. Gems are especially scarce, with only 46 such pieces
certified by PCGS and 15 finer (7/10). This pleasing, problem-free
example should be of interest to New Orleans type collectors as
well as date and mintmark collectors.Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 2/2005), lot 5644.(Registry values: N1793)
