    Description

    1852 Three Cent Silver, MS67
    Only Two Finer at PCGS

1852 3CS MS67 PCGS. CAC. The 1852 silver three cent piece, with a mintage in excess of 18 million coins, is a fairly plentiful date in the absolute sense, but it becomes conditionally rare at the MS67 grade level. This satiny, lustrous piece shows soft golden and ice-blue hues on each side, with essentially unabraded surfaces. Close examination reveals signs of die erosion on each side, including weak definition on the central devices, not uncommon for this issue. CAC-approved, in an old green label holder. Population: 14 in 67, 2 finer (7/14).(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 22YZ, PCGS# 3666)

    Weight: 0.80 grams

    Metal: 75% Silver, 25% Copper

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
