Description

Pleasing 1853 Three Cent Silver MS66

1853 3CS MS66 PCGS. CAC. Lovely lavender and olive-gold toning visits this essentially pristine Premium Gem. The cartwheel luster is dazzling, and the strike is sharp save for a couple of peripheral star centers. 1851 to 1853 were the heavy production years for the three cent silver series, since silver coins of other denominations were hoarded by speculators. Population: 45 in 66, 5 finer (11/08).
