Description

1854 Three Cent Silver, MS65
Green Label Holder

1854 3CS MS65 PCGS. Type Two three cent silver pieces were struck from 1854 to 1858, and they are generally scarcer in high grade than the Type One coins. The 1854 is scarce in MS65 and rare finer. This piece displays a sharp strike, save for the olive branch, and satiny luster with light champagne color. No die lapping is evident. Housed in a generation 3.1 green label holder, the last of the old green holder generations.(Registry values: N2998)
