1854 Silver Three Cent, MS66
First Year Type Two Issue
1854 3CS MS66 PCGS. CAC. The diminutive three cent silver
design was modified in 1854, creating the so-called Type Two design
that lacks a formal name. This Premium Gem exhibits prominent clash
marks on both sides. The surfaces are frosty and lustrous beneath
vibrant gold and iridescent toning. PCGS Population: 26 in 66 (9 in
66+), 5 finer (12/25). CAC: 15 in 66, 2 finer (12/25).Ex: ANA Signature (Heritage, 8/2015), lot 3330.(Registry values: N2998)
