Pastel Patina, Late-State Obverse
1855 3CS MS65 PCGS. Pastel pinkish-gold and ice-blue hues
complement the attractive surfaces of this Gem 1855 three cent
silver, lustrous and showing no mentionable distractions. Bold
clash marks appear on the reverse, and traces of repunching show on
the 185 in the date. Some wispy die cracks connect portions of the
lower obverse. Seldom seen finer. Population: 13 in 65 (1 in 65+),
