Description

1856 Three Cent Silver, MS65
Pristine Surfaces

1856 3CS MS65 PCGS. CAC. Mintages of three cent silver increased in 1856, but despite the reasonable mintage, the date is rare as a Gem. However, the present lot is remarkably unabraded and has only faint straw-gold and stone-gray toning. The strike is good though incomplete on the central shield lines. Encased in a green label holder. Population: 22 in 65, 4 finer (6/13).
