1858 3CS MS65 NGC. A pleasing combination of champagne, russet-gold, and sky-blue coloration decorates the well preserved surfaces. Lustrous and boldly struck with only faint clash marks. A scarce Gem survivor from this pre-Civil War date. The average grade for this issue from NGC and PCGS is only 59.7. Census: 42 in 65, 29 finer (4/09).(Registry values: N2998)
