1858 Three Cent Silver, MS67
Bold Clash Marks

1858 3CS MS67 NGC. This is an interesting example of the scarce Type Two three cent silver coinage, showing bold clash marks on both sides. This piece also shows a small planchet lamination to the right of the date, as made. Pinkish-gold patina predominates, and the strike is better than normal for this strike-challenged issue.
