Noteworthy 1862/1 Three Cent Silver, MS67
1862/1 3CS MS67 PCGS. FS-301, formerly FS-007. The underdigit 1 is visible along the left side of the 2. As a Guide Book variety, this overdate appeals to a broad range of collectors, and a Superb Gem such as the present piece is a prize for the most discerning of numismatists. Hints of golden toning grace bright surfaces that are otherwise silver-white. Struck from clashed dies.
