Description

1864 Three Cent Silver, MS66
Sharp, Lustrous, and Lightly Toned

1864 3CS MS66 PCGS. An impressively sharp Premium Gem example, bathed in luminous, satiny mint luster. The reverse design recesses show slight die lapping, but the sharpness of the olive branch and arrows is most pleasing. Russet toning freckles appear throughout, though the dominant patina consists of lavender, ice-blue, and champagne hues across both sides. The 1864 three cent silver piece is seldom found this fine, and rare finer. Population: 23 in 66 (3 in 66+), 18 finer (8/25).(Registry values: N2998)
