1865 Three Cent Silver, Prooflike MS64
Attractively Toned
1865 3CS MS64 PCGS. From a mintage of only 8,000 pieces,
this near-Gem 1865 three cent silver displays attractive prooflike
fields with satiny devices that show only slight strike softness in
the centers. Much of each side has deep sea-green and lilac-blue
toning, although the borders feature brighter yellow-gold color.
Eye appeal is outstanding. Population: 20 in 64 (1 in 64+), 28
