Description

Semireflective 1867 Three Cent Silver, MS67

1867 3CS MS67 NGC. Proofs and the occasional prooflike three cent silver pieces from the 1860s are often found with toning that is so deep that it obscures the underlying mirrors or mint luster. That is not the case on this coin. Each side is brilliant, save for a slight accent of golden around the margins. The fields are bright and semireflective, with light cartwheel effect. The devices are fully brought up.(Registry values: N4719)
