1870 3CS MS65 NGC. The obverse has dusky rose patina with blue-violet framing, while the latter color occupies the reverse interior with a greenish hue around. A charming Mint State Gem from an issue of just 3,000 business strikes, housed in an earlier-generation holder with external sticker. Housed in a generation 4 "fatty" holder. NGC Census: 11 in 65, 4 finer (12/25).
