1862/1 Three Cent Silver, MS67
Registry Set Contender

1862/1 3CS FS-301 MS67 PCGS. CAC. The remnants of an undertype 1 are visible along the left side of the 2 in the date, identifying the popular Guide Book variety, which was first reported in the 1960s. The overdate is seen less often than the regular date, and it is rare at the MS67 grade level. Finer coins are virtually unobtainable. This spectacular Superb Gem offers sharply detailed design elements and impeccably preserved lustrous surfaces, with outstanding eye appeal. The high quality within the grade is confirmed by CAC.
