1854 $3 MS61 NGC. Luster swirls about the legends and devices of this minimally abraded gold type coin. Scarcer than the 1878 in Mint State, and a single-year subtype due to the smaller letters in DOLLARS. All three dollar pieces have low mintages, and are scarce relative to other gold denominations of the era.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25M3, PCGS# 7969, GSID# 8627)
