Pleasing AU 1854-O Three Dollar
1854-O $3 AU50 PCGS. With 24,000 pieces struck, the 1854-O is the more accessible of two Southern branch mint three dollar gold issues (the other being the famous 1854-D three dollar gold rarity). The present piece, though distinctly worn on the high points, has considerable radiance remaining in the orange-accented yellow-gold fields.
