Attractive 1854-O Three Dollar, AU53
1854-O $3 AU53 NGC. The reverse die is cracked through the mintmark, with a slight bulge at that location, rendering the mintmark weak but still visible. Bright green-gold surfaces are lightly marked, as expected for the grade. Only a few small marks are obvious. An attractive example representing the single New Orleans three dollar gold piece.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25M5, PCGS# 7971, GSID# 8662)
