Description

1854-O $3 --Improperly Cleaned--NCS. XF Details. The New Orleans Mint struck three cent silver only in 1851, and coined the three dollar denomination only in 1854. Half dollars, though, were struck annually at the facility until the Civil War. This example is cloudy from faint hairlines, but noticeable luster remains and there are no distracting marks.
